You should use only Auto if you do not want to do any other adjustments. But you could set to Custom BT2020 which have wider color gamut and then calibrate colors (it seems all panels are pretty similar and you could find setting for such calibration). Although the difference is beraly noticeable.
The s90c is fantastic in gaming and honestly way too fucking bright in a dim room but the c3 is only like 300 nits off which isnt much. In my experience after calibration the black levels seem comparable on both. The difference really is in color depth and brightness. The S90C will have much more vibrant colors (especially reds, holy wow they are red. Like just the most red you’ve ever seen it’s wild) and it’s noticeably brighter. But like I said, the interface is annoying.At around $1,600, the 55-inch S90C is only a hundred bucks more than the 55-inch LG C3. Unless you really want Dolby Vision support (or LG’s software), the S90C is probably the way to go. It’s a better TV for movie night and roughly the same for gaming.
