You said you have shotgun boresnakes, I use one of those on my bolt tube as well as a 9mm boresnake on the bore. Yours means #49,7xx with the x's meaning the last 2 numbers. It's a modified base 34 numbering system. I DO know that Kel Tec started using an S as the first letter about two years ago.

The serial number for the gun appears on the same end of the Kel Tec box as the SKU number, but on a separate sticker. I'm won't post the serial number to this thread. I contacted Kel Tec customer service yesterday (in the wee hours today actually). Kel Tec customer service was quickly responsive via email, but only somewhat helpful.
