As far as i Can tell the main differences are. 1) optima has 26" stainless barrel Vs wolf 24" blued. 2)thumbhole stock, i have never shot a thumbhole stock gun and am not sure if i will like it. 3)price the optima is about $90 more than the wolf however only $50 after i purchase the durasight -dead on sight that i think that i like.

I ended up shooting 2 White Hots with a Hornady SST 300 gr. bullet and it worked out better than I'd hoped. 1 1/8" groups at 100 yards. The best part was the trigger.

Starting to think not every new inline that gets shipped out is capable of 1 MOA accuracy. I did not see any indication of V1 or V2 or Bergara barrel marks. Although when I talked to a CVA Technician about my Optima he stated it had a Bergara barrel. Also my rifle has a fantastic trigger. Parts of the trigger assembly are plastic. The breech plug is no where near as good as the CVA BH209 plug and seals worse that either QRBP. Upper end CVAs have adjustable triggers too.
