For the uninitiated, both the Blade of Saeldor and the Bow of Faerdhinen can be recoloured using crystals from Lliann’s Wares in Prifddinas to match the emblems of the different Elvish clans. It only makes sense that you should be able to recolour Crystal Armour in the same way! Here’s how they would look:

100% shards it's the same as like 2-3 hours of pickpocketing elves for each armor seed. If you use bofa to it's fullest for pvm you will blow through armor charges. You don't really need them after a while, I have 5 banked with 4000 c shards, corrupted bowfa and saeldor with max charged c armor.So nex the bowfa is bad because it's dps is very low compared to using acb/zcb/fang and you use more shards on the armour then anywhere else in the game and also in small teams you will almost always have the tank and use 2x more supplies because you will have the lowest defence, you can use it for some kills but it wouldn't be ideal to camp nex with bowfa

Crystal, and it's not close. crystal armour gives +15% damage. Masori gives +8 ranged strength. Even ignoring the other pieces you might have like anguish or assembler, the bow has over 100 ranged str, so 15 is obviously way more than 8. It also increases the bonus from your ranged level. Accuracy is a similar story.

Just being able to go back for an armor seed every now and then is a lot nicer than camping cg. bowfa without armor is better than crystal bow with armor...but that accuracy hit will hurt a lot on bosses. You absolutely can have a rest and have fun with. So many people high on their supply here.

If you ever plan on selling the bowfa later, then corrupting is a waste of gp. Owning crystal + masori is a bit strange for a main especially without even the bowfa, but if you were an iron you wouldn't suggest "getting rid" of masori. If Iron then I'd suggesting grinding until bowfa. If main then sell the masori and use it to buy bowfa, then save all the way up for tbow and after that pick up the masori again.

I use crystal armor top only with the bow and the rag gear for the rest. Kills are quite long, not sure how it stands against full veracs.
