It was our second. I said it was fine to miss. It was awful. Our baby had died in the womb weeks earlier and I hadn’t miscarried it. I sobbed and sobbed and the sweet doctor was so kind. My husband immediately left work and I know he deeply regrets it. So. Think twice about missing those appts.
