The KP9 eats everything all the time and never ever chokes. Downsides are the kind of expensive proprietary mags and relatively tiny choice for stocks/braces. AP5, and all the different flavors of MP5 are the smoothest shooters. They are easy to swap stocks/braces on. Downside is the HK tax and the dated ergonomics.
