Kia sorento water leak passenger side.
I've got water leaking in my the front passenger footwell of my 53 registration Kia Sorento MK1. It's dripping down off the fan motor behind the glove box. I've totally sealed and siliconed various places under the scuttle panel and bulkhead with no obvious holes or cracks.

When I finally had a chance to look into it in detail I went in to the engine compartment and saw quite a bit of residual oil on the top of the engine and along the area of the engine block near the air filter. I could tell this would be more than a ...The case is located on the passenger side next to the firewall. The evaporator sweats because it is cooler than the outside air. Take a glass of ice water outside and watch it drip. The hose is black about 1/2 diameter usually they stick out about 2 or 3 inches. Catch it in a glass container if it's water your fine.My Steps –. 1. Put the wipers in the up position and turn the car off. - ***Important –mark the wiper position with tape or grease marker to install back in the correct position. 2. Pop off the wiper retention nut cover. 3. Remove the retention nuts with socket (sorry didn’t note socket sizes…) 4.Major leak in the passenger footwell. Dealer says no recall - service bulletin. Some online say they forgot to seal some body panels at the factory. Is there a cowel vent drain plugged ? You can hear water sloshing back & forth under the dash and the water drains fast in left turns into the passenger footwell.

The A/C evaporators box drain tube is blocked and condenser water is flowing over and into the passenger side. It goes from the bottom rear of the hvac housing behind the dash and exits out the firewall in the engine compartment below the ac lines at the firewall. It is very low and hard to see from the top. Tracked the leak to the passenger side rear sunroof track drain. The rearmost part of the track has a plastic stop that funnels water into the drain hose.
