A few years back my brand new (two or three months old at the time) Jeep Compass engine died in the middle of interstate 90 near Erie while I was overtaking a 18 wheeler doing 75 mph. Somehow I managed to keep my cool, let the truck pass and throw the car towards the highway shoulder.
