Jan 21, 2011 · Posted January 22, 2011. I absolutely LOVED Oasis but Epic has her beat with the aft balconies. Oasis has no standard balconies which face the wake. She has other ammenities such as the boardwalk and aqua park instead of cabins facing the wake. I loved Epic's totally private aft facing balcony cabin.
Posted February 18, 2019. No Starbucks on the Epic. Atrium cafe and the restaurants serve Lavazza for espresso and espresso based drinks. I only drink strong black coffee, either espresso or french press made with lots of coffee. The Encore is a far more 'modern" ship than the Epic. If you are looking for quiet spot's to read then I would certainly pick the Encore for the Waterfront on deck 8 for outdoor couches and chairs and the Observation lounge on deck 15 for indoor relaxation.
