With the LISST that sparkle is there and even on the HD800's it isn't overwhelming. As Schiit stated they don't run cool but they don't run as hot as tubes. The Lyr 2 runs a lot cooler overall. Brighter and harsher indicates that there is more noise usually. In my system, that has resulted in the Mjolnir sounding quite a bit "warmer" than some impressions suggest. This even with a non-warm DAC (Chord TT2) and bright headphones -- the Focal Utopia 2022. keenerz said:
