X macro vs x macro tacops.
Just watched a video about the P365 TacOps model debuting at Shot Show. I only did a cursory search, so if someone else has already posted this, please forgive me. It is the 3.7 inch no comp barrel, still interchangeable grips, and an extended slide catch lever. Removeable steel magazine well, and 4 magazines ship with this gun. 750$ MSRP.

Reaction score. 1,534. #24 · May 3, 2023. When I shoot the stock X-Macro vs. the X-Macro with a XL slide I get exactly the same results as when I shoot a 365X vs. a straight p365. Groups are pretty much the same. I am just back on target, and shoot, appreciably faster. SIG Certified P320 & P365 Armorer.
I'd probably go with the Comp'd Macro if money isn't the biggest deal. Macro TACOPS if you want the extra accessories and two extra mags (better deal than the comp'd version). XL if you want to print less and save ~$200. Currently going to buy my first gun and definitely getting a sig. NYS is a 10 round capacity state ( Which sucks ass) but it is what it is. Currently at my shop the p365 XL is going for $642.68 & the X-Macro Tacops is going for $690.24 (plus pinning fees). Both feel really good in my hand but whats worth it. for the record Im 5'10 150 pounds. 7.Tested macro barrel and saw velocity was lower with 124 hst than what I had with old Xl barrel. So found complete XL slide for cheap and put it on macro frame. Moved macro slide over to old Wilson Combat regular 365 module. Nephew liked my macro/Xl combo. There's no difference in length on those guns, one has a shorter barrel but the built in comp makes the slides the same size, so from a conceal ability standpoint it's a non issue. That extra .6in of barrel length isn't going to do anything substantial for muzzle velocities so I wouldn't use that in my decision making.

I am pretty close to picking up the P365 X-Macro Tacops soon…I shot a X-Macro Comp the other day and didn’t feel like the integrated slide comp was worth the price difference or did much for me… The longer barrel will make for a better sight radius and increased accuracy, plus 4 mags instead of 2 for less seems like an easy win…
The Streamlight rail key used (#4) caused the light to shift forward despite torquing that sucker down to the pistol.
