This is slightly different than an individual currency replacing the dollar. It is a collection of countries all stockpiling rare resources to use for a reserve currency. I don’t think it’s doom and gloom for the US, but it will certainly be a rebalancing of global power. I wouldn’t underestimate BRICS.
