Weapon multi hit zomboid.
I wouldn't say people hate on it so much. The general consensus of this subreddit tends to be "play how you want to play." That being said, the people against it would just say it is unrealistic and/or it makes the game too easy. You can't really swing and hit multiple targets with force in real life with most weapons.

i would only put multi hit in some weapons, like a crowbar, baseball bat, long weapons in general. Is stupid to hit 2 or 3 zombies with a little hammer. Play how you want but personally multihit for me just makes the game way too easy. It invalidates guns as that is their purpose, taking on large groups of zombies, and isn't realistic in my opinion to be hitting multiple zombies that are stacked on each other with weapons that cant possible manage to swing through a zombie in one hit. 5.

Katana can deal 8 damage to the undead with every swing, making it the highest-damaged melee weapon in the game. This two-handed long blade also has a 30% critical hit chance, a 6x critical damage multiplier, and average durability.With multi hit you also get reduced exp with weapons. The setting assumes you're always hitting the maximum number of targets with a multi hit weapon. So if a crowbar only hits 2 enemies, you get 2/3 the normal exp because it could hit 3. I've done a lot of boxing and sparing with weapons including a quarterstaff and overall it just seems a bit too silly to be able to hit multiple foes with one strike (especially for just the average person).
