I got home last night at 1045 from my second job and decided to run the lost sector to get the new exotics on my 3 characters (or so i thought). I ran it for 1 hour and 45 minutes. It was something around 14-15 clears. I had it down to around 7-8 minutes a run.

My drop rate for legend lost sectors seems to consistently hover around 16% for whatever reason. The drop rate for master seems to be a bit more consistent with what you and others have experienced. My luck seems to have soured particularly in the last week or two (ie, 1 or 2 hours of continuous ~2min runs with 0 drops), but I'm not sure why

Master lost sectors have a 33% exotic drop chance flawless or not. Its just the way it is. You're better off farming Legend lost sectors. It's statistically better. Master lost sectors probably aren't as rewarding as they should be, but going into them expecting to do 5 or less and have anything to show for it is just asking to be disappointed. Any less than 10 or so is just a waste of time. Legend sectors are probably better for most players since they can be done faster and have a very similar drop rate.
