If the tractor does not detect shaft speed, it shuts it off to prevent burning up the clutch. It thinks the clutch is slipping.

I think the 2wd 6300 has (1) 1/2" square plug under the drawbar, the plug towards the front is definitely an Allen plug. Our mfwd 6415 does have the 1/2" square plug.
