CNY. TDI. 2001. Jul 17, 2011. #1. Hi, after tracking the coolant leak for few days I found coolant leaking from the heater core inlet/outlet connection on the engine to firewall. I looked at the connection and it looks like the hose snaps in to the heater core inlet/outlet port/nipple and is secured by a clip.
