Chrysler 300 remote start not working.
Once the temperature hits -3 C (26F), the cars horn beeps once; lights flash once and the vehicle does not start using the remote starter. Once the car is warmed up, it works fine. Any temperature above -3 C it works fine. I noticed some other Chrysler model forums mention this problem. I have not taken it to the dealer with 'this' issue yet.
The car runs 10 minutes or 15 minutes before shutting off. That's an option you set while programming it. The only one I recommend is the dealership remote start. Just wants a manual start for you to see important messages. It will also not work if the hood is up. Check to see if the hood sensor plunger or whatever is not cracked or bent.

The cluster module also operates all the door locks so its not likely to be a faulty cluster module, its more likely to be a door mechanism fault or a wire off. The thread also mentioned that you can bypass the switch by using a 1K ohm resistor as a jumper (vs an open or dead short), so I ordered some resistors to try that while I try and find the replacement switch. This is the factory remote start in a 2012 300C 5.7L. Any help would be appreciated.
