Rough Idle & Reduced Steering Assist. 2019 High Country that I have had for a year next week. Bought new and currently has 7,600 miles on it. I started it last night and it immediately had a rough idle that shook the car. The CEL was flashing, brake and ABS lights were on, and a message about steering assist reduced displayed.
However, our 1st Acadia purchased a year ago has had a consistant whine noise until yesterday. The noise was said to be typical of GM drive trains. While traveling on a busy Hwy 5 hours from home the powersteering suddenly went wrong with a pop noise. At a cost of approx. $1200 the powersteering pump had broken!
