Obsidian had kept the flame burning longer than most but even they moved onto different styles and genres to ensure that the doors stayed open. There are 2 bows that have an upgrade called Weightless Draw, which gives a 50% chance to trigger an instant cooldown on a crit. Rogue's have dirty fighting, which gives them a 10% hit to crit conversion, and you can get more with fighter's Disciplined Barrage, or just by sheer accuracy bonus from the Ranger.

D'amarr is right, INT and RES help the most with the dialogue choices. However they are absolutely of useless in combat for a Rogue. I'd advise for high MIG, DEX and PER. MIG and DEX will not give you silver tongues dialogue choices but PER will definitly give you some good things to pick. But they are not in a persuasive nature. Sure its possible. Rogues are the best ranged class simple because 90% of rogue skills work for ranged weapons. Ps. Guns sucks on rogue , they are way better with some fast bow , simple because rogue have a passive skill that make 15% of your hits criticals.. so faster weapon benefit better from it.
