I bought a new Nikon Zfc mostly because I like the retro styling; the Z camera because I wanted a lighter camera for travel than my D750 with the big heavy Tokina 24-70 that I usually have on it.

Jul 30, 2023 · True Z6 AF wasn’t up to the Sony A9, which was much more expensive, and Nikon users were complaining loudly. Unfortunately the internet is full of myths and nonsense, often pedalled by click bait merchants on YouTube. Film cameras look beautiful, but they’re not so nice in the hand (in my experience). Received my Nikon 180-600 on Thursday & shot some football with it on Saturday. For the most part I was happy with the results. The versatility of the lens is a great plus. First football I've shot in 247 days so knocking off some rust while getting used to a new lens. Camera used was my Z9.Jul 19, 2008. #3. Yes, but not for bodies like D300. But for the bodies its designed to fit like D2-3 and probebly the D700 (by the looks of it) its a good aid. I wouldnt bother cluttering up the D3/D700 VF with a katzeye or similar.

I've done a quick search and can't see this has been raised before. On a few occassions with a fully charged battery the low battery charge indicator has appeared on my D700 and I have lost power. There is, but when I go into the Firmware version menu, there's a flickering yellow egg-timer icon on top of the version details, and a Done button at the bottom of the screen.

My foray into the Z cameras was a used Z5, which came with the 24-50mm "kit lens". It had a fairly low shutter count, and I used it for virtually the same subject matter as my D810, via the FTZ adapter. Feb 12, 2018 · The 24-120 is weakest around 85-120mm, where I definitely need to stop down at least one stop. It's also less than perfect in the corners at 24mm. I tend to bring my 85/1.8 along for situations that need more wide open sharpness and better bokeh, and my 16-35 to cover the weakness at 24mm. Cheers.

Around the time I got the D300, I had replaced nearly all my AF lenses with AF-S. I only saved the 50mm AF and 28mm AF. I just don't think there are a lot of people out there who have moved to mirrorless who are attached to AF lenses enough that they are begging for an FTZ with built in motor.
