The 92A1 uses a frame different from the M9A1 .As such, the slides are NOT interchangeable. Nor in most cases are the holsters. If compatibility with the legacy gun (92FS)in terms of slides and such is important, choose the M9A1. If going full custom is the goal, look to the 92A1.
