Since the helm vendor is no longer there and the Ikelos SMG is the best primary in the game for pvp and pve what is the best way now to farm for the pattern? I think you mean primary. Cause it isn't kinetic. I've had the ikelos sniper and seraph hand cannon drop for me as a world drop. So it may drop as a world drop now, but I'm not sure.Adept ummortal gets up to 80 range(+ another 10 with keep away), meanwhile the ikelos smg gets 79 range and gets good perks like killing wind, dsr, threat detector and ttt. The various Ikelos weapons can drop as red borders from the Operation Seraph Shield exotic rotator mission. You get 1 guaranteed red border from its weapon pool on your first completion of any difficulty per week per account, 1 for Normal, and 1 for Legend--so 3 guaranteed per week per account if you complete it on both difficulties.
Also yeah that thing is definitely not the easiest to control on console so stability helps haha. Ikelos is technically better, but just use what feels better for you. Ikelos is objectively better. Perks are better, dps is like 30-50% higher iirc which is bumped even higher with smth like surrounded.

Brigands law with threat detector and voltshot is one of if not the best legendary gun in the game. It's better than the ikelos smg and way more fun to use.900 beats a 720 any day. Subjunctive is flat out better cause of the better archetype. Voltshot also benefits more from subjunctive being faster firing as you want to pepper jolted targets to get the arc damage to proc faster.
