John deere gator clutch problems.

Sep 15, 2016 · I have a 2012 825i and experienced most of the clutch problems folks have had. I really enjoy the Gator except for that clutch. I've pilfered the pics of the home made pulling tool...thanks for that. My Gator is 4 yrs old, but is a weekender...had the first clutch replaced by JD at 37 hrs. Now experiencing similar problems @ 88 hrs. Gator Clutch Problem. XUV590M with the dreaded sticky clutch problem. Has 22 hours on the machine. 6 months out of warranty. I called up the dealership and complained. They agreed to fix it for $170, saying they would give a little and get JD to give a little. My current gator is 2022 835R we bought new and really like it but have had 2 issues. One is it always tended to shift plenty hard between gears.So, your John Deere Gator is getting hard to shift. It first had problems with clutch, then front differential, so I sold it and purchased a Yamaha Viking EPS and I have had it nearly a year with no problems it shifts gears real good, and no problems with clutch and e wheel drive.
