The water temperature was advertised at 29.3 with air temperature at 28.5. There is an aqua gym class available on Monday, Wednesday and Friday 10 am to 11 am.
Parking fine. In a restaurant we saw people feeding a meter, thought it was free after 8pm,but it's 9pm! We had only been there 5mins so rushed out got a ticket & put it on the dashboard. What's the status on Bar 55 now, it was closed for renovations last time I visited, was always one of my favourites to eat and ā¦I was once able to buy blood pressure tablets from the pharmacy just off the main church square near Cafe Costa del Sol when my husband forgot his but we always take copies of doctors letters/prescription lists when we go on holiday to prove need and in case of emergencies.They were actually cheaper than a prescription at home !Don't worry - it is as safe as any other resort. I've been going there for 10 years now (and bought a home there) with no problems at all. Occidental Fuengirola is at the western end of Fuengirola about a 15 minute walk from the Fuengirola train and bus stations. There is a train every 20 minutes except for late at night and early in the morning. The last train on Sunday is 0:16, just after midnight. Trains leave the airport at :16, :36 and :56 after the hour and it is a 34 minute ride to Fuengirola which is the last stop. Free travel is offered on local trains in effect with a season ticket. Single tickets are specifically not included. Some websites seem to suggest that Bonotren and other multi journey tickets (10 or more) are included but the MĆ”laga Cercanias website makes no mention at all of this free travel offer. Go in to the tabac shops @ you get a 10 bus pass for 9-80euro. This will take you from fuengirola to Carvahal.Train fares very cheap, a fraction of what you pay at home.
