For reference I’ve put about 600-625 rounds through it now. While at the range today I thought I had an FTF and went to eject the mag. I wasn’t able to eject the mag, which I thought was odd, but was able to clear the round and let it strip a new round.
Change out mag, go to rack the slide to chamber the next round and then slide won't budge. If I pull in it w left hand, my right thumb is able to reach the slide stop to then put it into battery. This being my first pistol I didn't know, I'd recently taken down a Glock and you had to pull that trigger. The same thing happened to me with a Stoeger shotgun, but neither owners manual mentions this. Ruger American Pro Compact 9 slide and take down lever stuck. Just pulled brand new gun out of box to disassemble, clean, and lube. Pulled slide to rear and locked in open position. Rotated the take down lever until it stopped.
