So if you are going all in on 3600 ram buy timings lower than cl16. Even then performance is more noticed on gaming fps benchmarks than real life zbrush.

Blender is much more intuitive for the initial form building. You can go in and out of poly modeling, it’s easier to set up refs and get a good base shape. I've got a plugin to make the navigation like blender (and while not the maya industry standard it's better than the default), have set Ctrl+S to save tool and have customized the UI so all the bits that need to be accessed regularly are just on the screen at all times.
