So I had my NT scan today and the NT measurement was good- 1.1 mm and I had the NIPT drawn. I did the carrier screen for cystic fibrosis my first pregnancy and this time around they offered me a screen for SMA (spinal muscular atrophy)- I guess Caucasians have a 1 in 35 risk of being carrier regardless of age.

Since mine are not in, I am torturing myself thinking that there must be something wrong and that is why it is taking longer.I think there are a few things going on here.
