I started using birth control about 14 months ago. For the first 6 months, I was on Ortho Tri Cyclen Lo, but the hormone levels weren't high enough to induce consistent cycles. My doctor upped my prescription to the regular Ortho Tri Cyclen, and it has given me the desired regular periods.

Been on nextstellis for 2-3 months now and this is so much easier on my body compared to Yaz! I did have 1 period and minor clotting etc as expected (there was a gap between switching pills), but mentally I feel so much better. Moodiness is a big side effect, but so far, it's not even close to the lows I felt when I was on Yaz.
