All of the factory shifters are vague, and long throw, so if you're willing to put up with high resistance, I recommend the MGW. To me I didn't like the high stiffness with my MGW. As mentioned, the box is the same for both C5 and C6. You may wish to replace the rubber bushings that mount the box, though.
