Some say the 12.5” midlength barrel is over-gassed, some say it’s perfect. Many say LMT drills larger gas port sizes for hard use / adverse conditions. I guess I don’t care about exact gas port sizes. I moreso want to know if the 14.5” and 16” middy’s have smaller gas port sizes than the 12.5” specwar barrel.Parkerizing looks totally dry. LMT doesn't parkerize under the gas block either usually. Mine started doing the same thing after a few days of training in heat and humidity. Knock the rust off with an appropriate brush, then liberally apply a preservative like CLP.
