Ironically Zamak was developed in the 1920's to form into shapes that steel was difficult to do, said to be pretty rugged. The videos I have seen on the older Heritage Arms revolvers have not mentioned any failures so far. Wish it was stainless steel, but for only $143.00 to purchase new in the box, can't beat that.

Re: Heritage rough rider cylinder lock up issue. If it is a timing issue there should be lead shavings in front of the cylinder before the forcing cone.
