On May 11, 2023, Roger was diagnosed with advanced stage IV kidney cancer, metastasized to lymph nodes, liver and lungs. When we realized it would be 4-6 wks until anything much was done for him here in Ontario, we went to Oasis of Hope Hospital, MX. Grace finished chemotherapy July 17, 2015, had her last treatment evaluation July 28, 2015, had her last treatment related doctor visit August 5, 2015, and rang the bell on September 1, 2015. Doctors will consider Grace cured four years from her diagnosis, October 14, 2018. "Amazing Grace" is an inspiration to all who know her.Robyn soldered through several types of treatments: chemotherapies, immunotherapy, radiation and even participated in a clinical trial at UCSF. She did ALL of this with her usual kindness, and grace, caring for all of us throughout.
