i beleive the Sharptail is the same as the CZ Mallard only with a english stock. i own a 20ga Mallard and a 28 ga Bobwhite. if i had to pick i would say the Bobwhite MAYBE has a slight quality edge but if it does it's not enough to choose one over the other. i have handled the 20ga Bobwhite and weight to the Mallard seems about the same.

Spend $1,000 on a used Browning BSS and tomorrow it's still worth $1,000 . . . maybe more. Part of that is just the difference between buying new versus buying used. You don't take new/used depreciation when you buy used. But also, long-term the Browning will hold its value better than the CZ. Probably a lot better.
