A simple restart fixed the problem. I just found it strange the gateway showed no internet connection but all of the wired pc's and mobile devices still had internet connection. Even the xfinity mobile app and 10.0.0.1 ip didn't seem to connect to the xfi gateway. But all is well again, thanks.

Hello, I would really like to get my hands on the XB8 modem/router. I started my service recently, and unfortunately, they sent me an XB7 modem/router. I have both the Gigabit Extra and xFi Complete packages. I wish Xfinity would make it easier to upgrade your Modem/Router, but, like many things with Xfinity, they make it super hard to do so.
