Duramax p0090.

The engine control module (ECM) supplies power and ground to the fuel rail pressure (FRP) regulator. The ECM monitors current on the circuits to detect a failure. If the current is outside of the expected range, DTC P0090 will set. The ignition is ON. The commanded FRP regulator current is between 400-1,500 mA .The issues started getting worse again. Right up until the engine limped and threw a P0090 code that will not clear. I did not get any other codes. No low or high rail pressures. This is also something that is not very common on these Duramax engines but it happens more often than an ECM issue. The most common problem on the Duramax is the EGR. That and head gasket issues. The P0090 says it is a "Fuel quantity solenoid circuit open". P0088 is "Rail pressure signal is above maximum limit".
