There are two strategies for gathering in the Diadem: Follow the chains around the entire map (miner nodes spawn clockwise, botanist nodes counterclockwise from the entrance island). Gather one specific chain of 8 nodes, then fly back to the 1st node in the chain and repeat. Fishing in the Diadem works the same as anywhere else.
